Twin Towers Competition. Mexico City, Mexico, 2009.
The project consists of two complementing towers--more than twins, siamese siblings separated at birth. One, located in an urban condition, filters air, while its mirror image, located in a rural context, filters water. The towers are meant as symbolic landmarks that express the interconnected nature of urban and rural sites in a single metabolic continuum.
