Bicentennial Towers (Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico, 2008)

The project consists of two complementing towers–more than twins, siamese siblings separated at birth. One, located in an urban condition, filters air, while its mirror image, located in a rural context, filters water. The towers are meant as symbolic landmarks that express the interconnected nature of urban and rural sites in a single metabolic continuum.
