Battery Park Museum (New York, U.S.A., 2008)

The brief called for the design of a museum in Battery Park, New York. We opted for an exercise on architectural iconography given the visibility of the site. The proposed structure behaves simultaneously as a “decorated shed” and a “duck” resulting from the geometric intersection of the city initials as three dimensional objects.
